About Anley Hall

Anley Hall is a fine example of Georgian architecture, built in 1783 and set within 200 acres of unspoilt Shropshire parkland. The house features ornate plasterwork, period fireplaces, and views across the valley.

Once home to the Anley family for seven generations, the Hall is now available for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Our facilities include a grand ballroom, library, and extensive grounds ideal for marquee events.

The History of Anley Hall
Built for the Anley family in 1783, the Hall was designed by renowned architect James Wyatt. Its grounds were landscaped by Humphry Repton in 1791. The property remained in family hands until 1964.

Events At Anley Hall
We host approximately 15-20 events per annum, ranging from formal black-tie dinners to summer garden parties. The Hall has proven popular for small conferences and team-building activities.
